This position will supervise timely movement of patients to and from procedures within the hospital at Saint Luke's East Hospital and Saint Luke's South Hospital. This position will supervise approximately 25 employees.

Responsibilities:

Responsible forthe daily operation of the department. Manages staff to achieve stated objectives in expenses productivity employee satisfaction guest service safety and sanitation. Has input in budgets business plans and strategic initiatives. Involved with interviewing hiring training motivating and performance managing employees. Monitors job assignments staffing resources available and responds to phone requests or to address problems. Involved with shift to shift assurance of timely response to requested transports and will occasionally move patients as needed. Good communication skills with nursing or clinical staff. Assists with equipment maintenance and replacement needs. Ensures timely service. Completes month end processes and reports. Maintains department schedules. Is professional and administers policies in a fair and consistent manner. Provides guidance to system hospitals on process policy or procedural changes.
